Membership Update: Summer 2024 – Celebrating Growth, Insights, and Opportunities for Digital Marketers

Can you imagine this marks the 6th year of our membership offering, and I’m so excited about passing the 330,000 mark, up from 280,000 just a year ago! So, you would have seen some really awesome offers landing in your email this month, just as in every other year. In the last survey on members, the top three reasons why you think DMI is preferred are: our unique focus on Digital Marketing; most recent and appropriate resources; and continuous education. This is great- every goal is met and I am going to take you through the areas where we were following up on those priorities.

2024 should be another challenging year for digital marketers. This time, the challenges will be new, though some old ones will still remain. For example, last week, we realized that Google announced it would be sticking with third-party cookies on Chrome when it was originally expected to put the discontinuation into effect, and this is potentially a significant development that will affect the industry to a great extent.

Another significant occurrence in recent weeks was an unintentional leak of Google’s API documentation, rewriting the book on search ranking understanding.
